1.Foundation type:

   2.Installing place:

There should be a good drainage channel for the installation of the truck scale. It won’t  be flooded due to heavy rain or flash floods,especially for pit weighbridge .In additon,there is flat platform which the width size is approximately equal to the scale body width on each ends of the weighing platform. 

Another factor that affects the installation of the truck scale is the number of cars you need to weigh every day. If you only weigh about 20 cars, parking is needed and 1 set weighbridge is enough.If it is about 50 cars, you need to prepare a parking place, 1 set scale is ok.But it is better to prepare with a bypass.If it is more than 100 cars, you should consider two sets scales to use at the same time.Each truck scale can be weighing heavy truck or wagon in two directions and the pathways.

You should think about where the car should be parked ?Whether it is queue while weighing? What happens during heavy snow, heavy rain, or in the busy season? All situation you need to pay attention.

    3.Foundation:

It must be concrete foundation.It is excavated below the local permafrost line.The concrete grade should be marked.The embedded parts have to be built.It is to ensure the level, location of geometry and the displacement when pouring concrete. After the foundation is completed, it shall be maintained according to the civil work engineering standards.Only the concrete reach at the design strength index,truck scale can be installed. If you want to shorten the maintenance period, it is allowing to take “early strength agent” and other measures under the guidance of professional and technical personnel. For lightning protection, you should set up a grounding pile according to the local conditions and ensure that the grounding resistance less than 4Ω.It should be laid a iron pipe from the center of the scale to the weighing room,It is used to pass the signal cable.

Notes:general speaking,It takes about 20 days to build the foundation,including the maintenance。

4.Weighing room:

The weighing room should be close to truck scale.It is to place the weighing indicator,computer, printer and other equipment.in addition, the operator can contact with the driver and transfer person.It is to ensure that the vehicle is on scale and identify the license plate number to check the goods etc.
